The big one this year is undoubtedly the new version of Monopoly- namely Monopoly World Edition: Here and Now. The makers of Monopoly, Hasbro, held a global vote so that people could cast their ballots for the cities they wanted to see in the new version of the game. Nearly six million votes were cast and Montreal won the title of the game’s most expensive property, which was originally held by Boardwalk in the traditional Monopoly game. Riga, in Latvia, was second and becomes the next most expensive property, known in previous Monopoly games as Park Place.
